Deer Creek Watershed Information:
Deer Creek Watershed Alliance drains approximately 37 square miles (23,500 acres) of St. Louis County which includes Ladue Estates Subdivision. Originating in the northwest in Creve Coeur near Highway 270 and Olive, Deer Creek flows in a southeasterly direction for approximately 10.76 miles before it enters the River des Peres at Maplewood, near Highway 44 and McCausland. Residents of Ladue Estates may be eligible to apply for the Alliance’s rainscaping cost-share program to help improve water quality in Deer Creek and its tributaries by installing landscaping that helps manage stormwater by capturing rain where it falls, instead of allowing water to run off-site. Please refer to the Deer Creek Watershed’s Rainscaping Cost-Share Program for the most current information regarding eligibility and to access their application.
